I currently have a 100 watt light bulb as a heat source,will the white light be a problem or do I need to use a red bulb ?

Hello and

It's easier for the chicks to sleep if you have a red bulb, but if you don't it's not really a big issue. We have raised several groups of chicks with a white light.
