Marking your chickens/ducks/turkeys

I am wanting to "mark or band" some of my chickens, ducks and turkeys that I am wanting to breed what do you use to mark your chickens?

Zip ties are cheap and work great.

go to your local farm store and order or pick-up leg bands. they are numbered and you can pick the color most of the time. They leg bands are easy to put on for they just wrap around the leg and will expand as the chickens grow.

Try Cutler Supply on the internet. I ordered leg bands from them and was very happy with the product and service.
