Why are nests wet...rainwater intrusion or maybe broken egg???

I have a huge flock of birds .... around 100 and ok I've got one or a few pecking eggs!!! If I could figure which one or ones are eating eggs I would cull the bird(s) how do I stop birds from pecking eggs

Use ceramic or wooden eggs (lots of them) and collect often.
Otherwise switch to roll out nests.

Also might look at protein and calcium levels in feed ....and space crowding.
