I call them gremlins, because they are. They sleep in their tunnel at night. Its a polar fleece guinea pig tunnel that ive hung horizontally in their cage. They are now 7 months old. and very naughty. Lola is nearest and Frankie at the back. She bosses him around and on occasions she pulls out his feathers on his head. But they are bonded. She is just a madam.
They eat mostly fresh fruit and vegies. and some parrot seed. They come out to play daily for a few hours.
They do not have their wings clipped. Although they do in this picture, because I drove from one end of new Zealand to the other and it was a safety concern.
I also have to budgies that were hand reared because the mum died as they were hatching. They are gorgeous. So reared out of the egg. They also have daily time out for a fly around.
