I've known Bruce and Mary Kay Crow for 40 years now. Marti was one of the best hatcheries there was but sad to say seems that all good things come to an end. Rumor has it that Marti's Poultry Farm was sold to Murray McMurray. Not sure how much truth is in this rumor but seems to be the case.

I didn't mean to get everybody's hopes up. I just noticed the Marti's site I have is a 1999 edition. Don't ask me how I found it...dunno.

Sold to McMurray? How sad! I had nothing but good looking EE bantams from them!

I just tried to get on to the site and it's down. Very sad if they're going out of business/been bought out. I have purchased chicks from them every 2 years for over 12 years and they always sent high quality birds, especially the Red Stars, and were super nice to deal with. Too bad as I was going to order from them again this spring (

I had also heard that they had shut down, didn't hear who they had sold to though. I loved their birds, they always had top end hatchery quality birds. So you heard Murray bought them out? That would be good for Murray, they could use the quality.
