We're also attracting many new BYCers because when they google us (btw, there are like 10 pages of ads on google) find the thread right here.

This will help all of us organize and have great swaps in the future.

What a day I had yesterday. 4girls1boy dropped me off 2 nipple/bucket waterers to donate for door prizes

and they took home a lovely rosecomb girl for 1 of the 4

to show and adore

CJ stopped by with tables, chairs, tubs for sodas, signs and all kinds of stuff for the event and we did an egg swap Thanks, luv

And, the calls are really coming in... more show entries and more buyers asking for particulars and making sure they know how to get here.

Things are really coming together. Hubby is taking off the Thur and Fri before to help set up and get everything in shape. The hayfield was cut yesterday and we're baling today. We'll have to mow again so it's nice and soft for swap day.

I've been hand painting big signs on 4x6 sheets of plywood and posting them around on main drags.

Let's DO THIS

Erin-

How do you plan on selling your quail...quads, trios, individual? I think I have a friend talked into getting some. He's a trained chef and wants the eggs....he doesn't want males but will just eat them if that's how you're selling.
Thanks.

I am so excited over the swap.It will be my first time there.I am interested in buying a few BQ silkies. I really want bearded buffs and whites or some eggs from SQ SIlkies. If anybody is bringing these could you please PM me.I am having a hard time finding any around where I live.Alot of silkies around here but just not what I am looking for.Since everybody is NPIP at the swap I can buy there with no problem.
Thanks
Karen

Hey all, I plan on coming down and hopefully bringing home some new chicks/chickens. I don't know if I can make a request, but I am looking for show quality Cochin Bantams in lemon blue, black, blue, molted and/or splash. I wouldn't mind a show quality Frizzled Cochin Bantam or 2 as well. I'll have carriers big enough for 6-8 adults or 20+ 1 day-1 week chicks. I can't hatch eggs, sorry...

I'll see ya's there (unless something serious and unforseen happens)! I can't wait!

Round bales are starting to fill the barn....if anyone needs some just message me. I am still looking for a few Royal Palm and Eastern Wild Turkeys so if anyone can hook me up before or after the show I would appreciate it......this sucks not being able to come:(
