How would you go about breaking multiple broodies without a bunch of crates and such to move them? We have 2 broodies on eggs (that we have allowed) and have another 3-4 either starting or trying to go broody. It's driving me nuts and egg count is dropping.

Get a tray of water and make them lay down. May take a day or two but unless you cage them it's hard to break a natural instinct. Once you have one go broody they will follow her lead.

Do you think I can cage them together? I have a couple cages I can fit more than one in.

My brahmas are going broody every other week at the minute, its driving me nuts. The only way I've successfully broken them is in a cage. If you haven't got the cages to do this than restricting the nest boxes is the next best thing but you'll have to try and make sure the hens that are laying can still access them.
