Hey Lurky, thanks for the heads-up. I'm printing it right now. DH and I will be going to the Providence Boat Show, maybe we can do chickens the next weekend!

I am hoping there will be some vendors selling stuff, but i am not going to expect it. I have never been to this so it will be neat and its free to get in. Its times like this i wish i had a farm. I hate to come home empty handed

Ohhh Wendy, You are going to love it !!! They have all kinds of stuff. Peter Brown even goes he is a really nice and honest man and will tell you like it is. Last year I was going to buy some meds to keep on hand and they were $$$ and he told me that I should wait because they do expire and he would hate to see me buy them if they were not needed! He gave me his card and told me I could call him anytime and get what I need! They have so much you are going to have a blast! I am going to go both days because its not to far from me and I love it! I wait all year for this show! I am going to look for some ducks and well what ever else strikes me

. I know for sure I will be checking out the silkies!!

I CAN'T GO ! :-(

BUT I am sitting at home waiting for the your a grandmother call....

I am so thrilled to be a grandmother again and can't wait to see the new little guy.

Any of you that go to the show, Please look at the silkies while you are there.. There should be some really good ones I would have been thrilled to compete against them.
I totally respect them and it would have been fun,

Tell all the silkie people that your BYC friend flufnstuff
wishes them luck and would have loved to spend the day with them...

Thanks for saying that cristina, I have wondered if there would be 'stuff' there. I even sent an email asking. I wish i could get something alive to bring home....but i cant. maybe

I am so excited. I work til noon on Sat....so i need to decide when to go

Flufnstuffs congratulations! I am sure you would not want to miss that call. I will not be going this year again either but I will say to anyone that is or thinking about it you will not be sorry. It is big with lots to see and a great sale section. Bring cages or boxes as you will come home with something!!

NO NOT YET - She called me today and my heart jumped a beat when their number flashed across the TV screen.
I triped and stumbled all the way trying to get to the phone and it was my
daughter in laws voice not my son I didn't expect that.
and I said whats going on why are you calling, still thinking it would be Mathew that would call with the news "THINKING SHE WOULD BE KINDA BUSY"

She said I just wanted to say Hi, I said your not in labor she said no and I said well if you had been me trying to get to the phone you sure would be now. POOR KID.

Still waiting.
