If it is legal in Ky those fences you have will have place where trails are from critters crawling under the fence this is an excellent place to hang a snare. Look for bits of fur on the bottom of your fence that and wallered out places under the fence. HTH

Im going to have to put a timer or something on the coop door. Could a coon drag a 14 pound chicken? The reason I ask whatever took one of my meaties tried to drag it through the fence. it was too big so i found half a chicken in the fence.

I had to babysit my grandsons last night so I put mine up 4 hours early--nothing but a few frozen blackberries to get them in

I have looked at the ccop doors that are on a timer-then my worry is ---are they all in?? and did I end up shutting the predator in?? so, now I am thinking ,do you get one of those cameras that you can check from anywhere and put it in the coop and a remote to close the door. If you can start a car miles away with a key reomote-there should be a way to do this. Alas, I'll just stay at home!!! So sorry you are losing birds like this--hopefully you will catch it.

No neighbors but I do have family here on the farm. If they aren't busy they close and open to coop for me. Traps are going up tonight and I am looking for a guard dog.
