About 2 weeks ago I was in the chicken yard doing my shores, I looked up and saw about three flocks of hawks flying real high up, there was some space between the three flocks and I sort of "guesstimate" that each flock had about 30 or 40 hawks. I believe they were migrating back north. I always keep my pair of good binoculars (16X) when I am out in the yard and was able to look up and see them flying. It looked to me that they were migrating following the updraft. They just passed by and I never saw them again (thankfully). So yeah, when they are migrating either north of south, we can always see flocks of them
