Are you a master gardener?
I'm interested in a discussion with master gardeners who keep chickens about the "big picture".
Besides picking your brains (okay, I'll be gentle), I am envisioning a demonstration garden on my property that involves a small coop (city-slicker-style), a worm bin, a rain barrel, and a chicken run, that can be rotated (I have to work on describing this vision better) and a garden bed -- possibly a raised bed, but not necessarily.
I want to have a "functional" and simple design that maximizes space and efficiency.
I have seen so many coop designs (cute) but difficult to manage. I also don't like to be far from the garden when it comes to cleaning out the coop. (I just posted in another thread how I add manure to the garden any day of the year without burning my crops.)
So, master gardeners, I'm sure you are here. SHOW YOURSELVES! Let's talk! Learn me a thing or two! (I might share a tid-bit, too -- ya never know.)
