This might be fun. I've been researching breeds lately and have narrowed it down to a few that might be right for me but I'd like to see if anyone else has other suggestions.
Requirements:
* Not super common but doesn't have to be extremely rare.
* Doesn't have to climb on your lap and sit with you but also not crazy flighty and people shy. Relatively calm around people.
* Good And functional layer, at least 3-4 eggs a week.
* Pretty. I love my Rhode Island Reds but I would love more color and maybe a splash breed. But splash isn't a requirement.
* Something that can be shown if that's a route I decide on later on.
