LOL, chicken math is also counting 2 bantams as 1.....5 standard chickens + 4 bantams = 7 chickens. Or tiny seramas...6 seramas = 1 standard. This is the logic I use on my hubby...

The smaller the bird= less space needed and less food used.

Chicken math is answering the question "how many chickens do you have" with I have x hens, and omitting the roosters, and any immature birds completely. After all, who else is paying attention to the difference in the crowing, and the little ones don't count anyway.
