Mats for the coop floor?

Some really ingenious ideas here! I may just use the sand on my property (impossible to grow grass in the desert unless you water it at least three times a day!) Sand is something I have plenty of! And I have dried leaves for part of the year. I get you, aart. When they poop, it'll end up right on those mats, and that won't work!

You could treat your coop floor like a poop board for manure management.
I actually have twice the sqft on my boards than your 3x4 coop.
