Matted eyes and smells faintly like a wet dog

Hi,

I have a 15 week old Buff Orphington pullet that has matted eyes with what apper to be an eye discharge that smells like a wet dog.

She does eat and drink, and her poop is normal. I used a warm, wet paper towel to soak and wipe her eyes.

Breating is normal, and no noises. She does not breath through her mouth.

I isolated her yesterday and began flushing her eyes with mild contact lens saline.

Her eyes looked better last night, but were matted shut again this morning. I did notice the eye lids were a bit swollen.

Also when she eats, I noticed her eye sight must be out of whack, as at first she misses the food, but then does get to it.

So, I need to know what to do, and what to use.

None of the others are affected.

Look up the symptoms for Coryza. I don't know what the smell is that they described since I've never had to deal with it myself.
