I really appreciate your help with my baby. You have been so knowledgeable and kind. It deeply saddens me to inform you that Lucky recently passed away, taking a piece of my heart with her. I wanted you to know that though my sweet baby didn't make it, she probably never would have lived this long if it wasn't for your help. She was hands down the sweetest, most affectionate bird that I have ever owned amd will be greatly missed. She would clumsily make her way over to me every day so I could pet her, she would try to play with our puppies by sticking her bill through the fence and would even give me hugs when I picked her up. Despite her condition, she was always a happy girl yet in the last few weeks, she has slowly become weaker but still would try to cuddle with me, best she could! She passed away on Monday morning peacefully in her sleep. You helped me have more time with Lucky before she died and for that, I am so grateful to you! Lucky is gone forever, needless to say, but her memory will always remain in my heart.

This isn't really related to the thread but my male duck suddenly seems slower. Not keeping up with the rest of the flock. It seems silly i know, but its not like him! He didn't want to eat much yesterday either, or today really. He eats it but is just slower. He doesn't look sick. Could he be depressed?? He was around Lucky alot so maybe he just misses her? She passed away on Monday so maybe... He might have been doing this for longer than a day or two but I have been away from home for the last week so I don't know. I'm really hoping I don't have another sick duck!!!🙄😬😞 it snowed today(Which is VERY rare! It only snows every few years!) and he seemed better so I'm thinking he may just be sad. But he seemed pretty happy today!!!
