im new to the chickens so i might ask a few dumb question.

How old do roosters need to be to breed and how long can a fertile egg be from hatch to be in the incubator????

Roosters start breeding somewhere around 16 weeks, it varies, and chicken eggs tkae 21 days to hatch, on average.
