As another idea, if you are building, I would recommend a second set up, rather than a bigger one... lots of fun. Crazy, but sometimes you need a separate place.

I would rather have a bigger coop that had the ability to split into separate sections than totally separate spaces...tho the too tiny first coops many people buy can definitely be handy once a larger coop is employed.
