Any update on your injured chick?? I havr been wondering what the vet said. I couldn't find a vet in my area.. but rest seemed to do the trick for my chick. Hope you get good news.

The vet was just guessing, but it's definitely not broken. She thinks maybe it is a torn tendon? She wanted to immobilize it as the chick seems to be in less pain when it is drawn up near her body and stable.

Your chick looks so cute in her body cast, lol! Hope she is better soon.

Waiting for my Bielefelder eggs....they were supposed to be here yesterday but I guess they didn't get to the P.O. until just before it closed. Tracking says they left San Jose at 2:30 p.m. yesterday, which is a 15 minute drive from here, but for some reason they never got to me. :-( So they must have seen sitting in my local P.O. all night & should be here this morning. I hope.
