MAY 2016 "Land of the Free Because of the brave!" Hatch-a-Long Hosted by, Mike & Sally

Well
Out of 12 guinea eggs, only 1 hatched. I was a big bummer . I had to fix its feet but at least now its strong. I wasn't sure if it would make it. I had to go buy a chick for a companion .

Lockdown for my last 2 eggs. Did not see any movement at candle. I doubt they will hatch but we'll see. I think there were too many temperature fluctuations this time.

I am just hoping the broody is doing a good job sitting out there under the bush & hope to see some chicks from her!

I moved my 6 week old cockerels into the big coop with the hens, now I just have to clean the little coop so it will be all ready for the mama to move into if she hatches some babies.

Oh my what did I do? Bought 12 lavender orp hatching eggs! Again to be shipped on june 7th! Who needs some baby chicks? I need a june HAL!!!!!

Everyone in the brooder! The Russian Orloffs are so tiny and cute!

@mlm Mike I candled the two unpipped eggs and didn't look promising. Well give it till morning then clean out the incubator.
