I had one 100% hatch rate, but then one of the chicks died 24 hours later the eggs were from my feral polish she's a wild child.

I figured cutting ties with that person was best since I find it odd that only 12 of 42 are good. That to me says your incubator isn't working or you mishandled them.

I actually have a hatching eggs storage shelf so mine are never mishandled. My father is a genius

Also, what is going on with BYC notifications?! I check in and no new posts and then an hour later, pages and pages show up. This place is so huge and busy I'd never be able to keep up without notifications

I've been hatching these eggs every single month and I know what my hatch rate is, no one is going to pull something over on me. I will not stand for it.

I politely told him to have a blessed day and we will never be doing business again.

My eggs have zero issues. I've had such a problem with people wanting to get free stuff from me lately

This is my fear getting into egg selling for hatching. I am sorry they are doing this.

He decided to get a bit cocky with me and tell me... I didn't want eggs to eat I wanted fertile ones.

That's what made me tell him we will never do business again.

I have records of all my hatches and I have proof so not my problem.

What a jerk. Sorry you had to deal with him.

Well I did say what my hatch rates have been and how many eggs I've hatched in a year. Then I said have a blessed day.

I don't mind customers who know nothing and want to learn. I do mind cocky customers who instantly blame my eggs when it's their first time hatching. I don't do business with people who can't first look at troubleshooting.

I'll give replacement chicks and eggs no problem if you're polite. The customer is not always right... That may fly at Lowe's but it does not fly at Fort Cluck Farms

So my advice to you would be put them higher than $4 per dozen or you'll get people like I have who drive you up the wall and stress you out.
