What I'm saying is that it was sticky and now that it's somewhat dried it is crunchy.I guess, although she doesn't feel sticky- more "crunchy". I will leave for a few hours and post a photo if it doesn't resolve.
The chick in the picture was a crunchy chick too and now it is completely fluffed after about a week. I did nothing because I don't wash chicks.
You could always get a wash cloth and put a little bit of warm water on it just so that it's damp and then rub the chick down. I would definitely make sure that you put it under a heat lamp or whatnot after you do that because you do not want your chicks to get cold.
