I have marked my eggs where the egg had a development happening. I am going to keep track, who knows maybe males and females attach differently. I have seen developement up by the aircell, and some by the middle of the egg. Below is the same egg, Middle development. (purple is where the egg is developing.)

This may be interesting. (5 day old egg.)

To people who want to help an egg hatch here is a pic of my avatar's baby... close up of pip hole, if you have a view of this,

this is a pipped- and zipping chick she is on day 22 now even though she is on day 22, I am not going to help until her veins are not red, red veins mean she has not absorbed all her belly button. The good thing is she has air hole. If people can ship an egg from across the country, and they need no food. a chick can sit in an egg an extra day.

Well in 12 hours its officially day 21 !!
Humidity looking good and the 4 eggs looking like eggs so I'm guessing that a bonus haha ! No real signs of anything yet. Brooder all set ready to go and the kids are too excited to sleep Haha!

My daughter and I have been up for the past two nights with the hatches! Photo attached of her around 2:00 am using my stethoscope to listen to the eggs peeping before they hatched!
Had to work today, but I’m blessed to work from home for now, managed to get through it with extra coffee!
Good luck with your hatch! The kids are going to have so much fun with it!

Some update pictures. The 5 Blue and Splash Marans and the 3 Japanese Bantam/True Blue crosses. The Japanese Blues all appear have those adorable stubby legs and I'm in love!
