I doubt it. You need more.Today is officially day 1 for my 12 EE eggs. I plan to sell these babies, but as a science experiment my 12 year old daughter and I are going to try to feather sex two of them, keep them and see if we were right.....just for fun. I *think* this is my last hatch for the season. Our April hatch was a 100% hatch rate, hopefully we can do it again!
I have a split hatch, also- and they are all in same incubator. (I didn't put cold eggs in the incubator with the all ready developing eggs, *tee-hee* I had the cold eggs in a still air incubator until they warmed up. 24 + hrs.)
When it is time for lock down I am removing the younger develop eggs to the still air incubator, so the lockdown eggs can hatch at the right humidity.
The broodies are of course okay, and the quail are fine too. At least I won’t have to wait so long.
