May 2021 Hatch - A - Long

Pics
Is it an Incuview from incubator warehouse?
I see you referenced my post... I am using the Nurture Right 360 from Tractor Supply as seen in this pic. I really like it even though the turner cracked. I was able to easily fix it with a small zip tie. I did put some super glue on too but don't think it was needed.

I put my last batch of eggs for this year in my incubator. They are the breeds in my signature. They're due to hatch on May 12th. My last hatch wasn't so good. I had a lot of blanks so I moved some of the males around and we will see. I waited a month for the females to clean out from the other males so hopefully the new males did their job. I have some eggs due to hatch this week.

Im seeing development in a few more eggs i have set so happy to say ill have chickens hatching this may. I'll be setting about a dozen quail also this week also.
My duck eggs however are in limbo. Apparently sent last monday due to arrive friday but its now Monday and tracking hasnt even changed from "tracking provided" to shipped!! So either postal tracking here in Aus is playing up for that shipment only (purchased other things that are going fine) or they havent actually sent them yet.. and to think I paid way too much for this hassle :(

We candled for the first time yesterday (8 days in). Only two look questionable, but I'll wait and candle again mid-week. This is my first time using a Brinsea Maxi II, my other attempts were in a styrofoam upright model. The eggs lay on their sides in the Brinsea, so it was different when I candled them. Hopefully I can judge the air cells ok, not many picture guides to help.
