A couple of pics.

Golden Crele Legbars were the first Legbar breed imported and I think have better coloration and lay a blue egg.

I can't seem to find the pictures on this computer, so here is a link to a couple of pictures. https://creamlegbarclub.com/photos/
Oh, one can dream. Crele is an amazing pattern and might need to build them at some point. There's plenty if barred and red to get something going. We have a few cream legbar here, but they are extremely rare and do not lay blue eggs. So jealous of your overseas selection.

I have 11 eggs that are on day 14.

First time hatching from our own roo since moving to the country and I've been a bit hail mary with these little guys, just chucking them in a cheap incubator and letting fate do its thing. Just checked in yesterday and everyone's thriving, wiggly and showing me their toes!

Out of 18 set, we had 6 clears and 1 red ring on day 6. Considering my little man is still quite a baby himself and only two girls have been on the lay, I'd say he's done pretty well. Looking forward to some weird and wonderful from this hatch. Our dad-to-be is a Silver Laced Wyandotte cockerel and the possible moms are a 'white with a few splashes of grey' frizzle and a blue splash silkie. More than likely, most if not all the babies will be from our frizzle as I know he mates her, but lets see what comes out and if any lacing makes it into his babies.

Sorry for the mite discovery! That’s a bummer but sounds like you’ll get it cleared up fast.

Someone gave me some black copper marans eggs on Saturday so I popped a few of them in to see what happens. He said they were a week old and probably wouldn’t hatch but a week doesn’t seem that old to me so I stuck them in there to see 🤷🏻‍♀️

The buckeyes are all showing good development but only a handful of the lavender ameracuanas are doing anything. The ones I cracked some open look infertile. I messaged the seller to let them know the issue but I hated to do it because now I expect they’ll write back a nasty letter saying something derogatory about my incubator. Can’t imagine someone who would send dirty, porous infertile, missshape & pullet eggs is going to provide quality customer service. View attachment 3067944View attachment 3067945
When I did Golden Campines, there were two clears in the 10 I received. It's a henny feathered breed so did let the seller know. I'd consider it good feedback, personally, especially if its a breed that is known to have fertility issues. I just sent it as an FYI, not a gripe. And dirty eggs... I have one in the incubator that's a bit 'too' messy at the moment and it can be hard to make out much when candling, but the lil squirt is going for it and no signs of corruption over halfway through.

Day 13, couple of candling pics!

Ack!! :-( I’m so sad 😞 I just discovered my incubator got unplugged somehow and the temp was down to 81 and 52% humidity. It probably was off for at least 2 hours. All my baby d’Anver eggs 😩 Do you think they’re all okay??
How far along? The bigger they get, the less temp sensitive they are. A mom might get off the nest for up to an hour with no ill results and I've had a broody chuck eggs which got chilled at 18 days and still hatch.

A temporary loss of humidity really is a non-issue too. I'd assume they'll be fine.

did a quick candle on the eggs under Ditzy and the ones in the incubator today (day 13). 2 under her look AMAZING! then 4 I think not fertilized. I took 2 but felt bad taking all her eggs so left 2 that weren't any good. need to figure out if I should take them before hatch day?

Incubator had 2 not fertilized which I took out. then there are the 2 quitters.... I haven't taken those out yet as I don't want to leave just 1 egg in the incubator for the next 8 days.

I am going to give Ditzy the incubator baby once it hatches. I would really LOVE to see one hatch and hopefully my kids can see it as well, but should I just put that one under Ditzy and forget being able to see it hatch?

depending on what I get from these 3 I may try to hatch some of Ditzy's eggs once she is done being broody and starts to lay again (and mating). But if I struggle re-homing these ones or get some splash pullets I am not sure if I will. feeling a bit sad with how this hatch went. Knew shipped eggs would be a struggle. But got 12 shipped, set 8 of those 12 (others were broken), of the 8 4 were not fertilized, 1 quitter and 3 growing (so guess 3 out of 8 for shipped isn't horrible). set 3 from Ditzy and had 2 not fertilized (must have been in production before I did the trimming) and 1 quitter. :(

Maybe put some fake eggs under Ditzy & take the two good ones under her to add with your one good egg? Slip all 3 under her when they hatch?

They were only at Day 5 :( So far it seems to have only impacted the ones that had gotten a bit of a late start. I still have about half of the 18 still developing, so I just hope they recovered and it doesn't hurt them in the long run. They do seem to be more resilient than we think, but sadly it probably did hurt some of them. Oh well, I probably didn't need THAT many babies anyway. Hehe

I've left all my clears in for the moment to work as little heat sinks. As long as they don't become corrupted, it's not a big issue. Just mark them and check them for any black spots forming in or on the shell and give them a sniff on occasion. Discard if there's any rotten egg smell or growths.

Curious what your sex ratios turn out to be. I know boy embryos are supposedly a bit more sensitive to cold, but as you said, it may have just been that extra start that helped the others tank it.
