So interesting situation here. Rainbow apparently didn’t like the first Pip and has made a second one?? Has anybody had this one? It’s not a zipper. Two distinct pips. @Honora youve got a strange one here haha

Good eye! I didn’t notice the fainter one until you pointed it out. Overly spaced out attempt at a zip maybe?

thinking maybe the start of a zip but not the best zip. guess just keep an eye on it?

I had one like that last year. Mine made several pips all over the place, including some into blood vessels. It was fine in the end but I do wonder if it's a sign the chick is either in the wrong position or a bit disoriented. I'm sure it will be ok but I'd keep a close eye on it.
