So were on out second hatch.. first not from our flock.. new chicken owners!

My concern, were now on day 6-7 and I've been candling and out of all 17 we have one I can see the tiny yolk inside the egg.. much smaller then even smaller eggs but nothing's happening.. no blood veins.. I've hated to toss it out .. but we have also seen what happens with bad eggs..

I would wait another week and then candle your eggs. If there is no development at day 14, then it would make more sense to toss then,,,,,,,,, rather than now.
Bad eggs are not likely to explode 14 days into incubation period. Many peeps incubate eggs without candling at all. Anything that does not hatch by day 25, they remove. (from incubator, or from under hen)

Take a picture of the egg while candling. Candle again at day 10. If there is no change, cull it.

I try to wait to candle until day 10, I've found that earlier than that its hard to see anything and there may be something there I just don't see yet.
