May be taking DH to the ER - UPDATE!

My mom is back home after five days in the hospital. She came down bent over double with severe abdominal pain. At the ER I advised that she'd had Pancreatitis in the past. Sure enough, her enzyme levels were sky high. An ultrasound showed a gallbladder packed with stones. It's thought that a gallstone blocked the pancreatic duct, thus causing Pancreatitis.

Grit, hopefully he'll have a successful laparascopic removal of the gallbladder, and be home before you know it.

Hugs and best wishes.

Well, he wouldn't go tonight.

The hospital is an hour away and since it's still snowing here, he says the roads are too slick between here and there.
He's sucking down pepto bismal, the only stomach remedy we have in the house.
We'll see how things are in the morning. He's known he's needed the gallbladder out for two years now, but he's a man...'nuff said.
Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes.

I'm sorry the weather kept him from going and tell him to get rid of the gallbladder!! I had mine out and I've been much happier! I have to watch a few things and no heavy proteins but other than that no problem!
