Candled my swap eggs yesterday and I definitely have 4 with veining, YAY! I also have 2 that I'm not quite sure about - one is jus tplain hard to see and the other is a possible blood ring but I'm going to have to wait and see how that develops. The last 2 I'm pretty sure are clear but as always I'm leaving them in to make sure. I also have some little sexlink babies in the two eggs from my flock that I threw in the bator for good measure
I'm happy right now with the development but I'm trying not to get my hopes up as there were several loose aircells despite that super awesome packing job. Which brings me to a quick vent... I am seriously irritated with USPS. I know shipped eggs are a gamble but I feel like every egg shipment I've gotten has been seriously mishandled this year and I've heard similar from almost everyone else I've talked to. My last hatch had half of the eggs completely scrambled on arrival plus two broken eggs.
But back to happy stuff... Can't wait to have a great hatch and some beautiful new Wyandottes!!!
