Are you getting baby turkeys or adults? Their feed needs will be different. Where will you keep them housed? Do you have waterers and feeders for them. The babies need a high protein feed. I think the Bourbon Reds are a good breed to get. The hens are good mothers and they take care of their babies very well. I have never eaten any of my turkeys but I hear that the Bourbon Reds taste good.

well i'm planning to make a little house and ran i'm still seching it

sadly but it be bigish taller the height taller then me baerly and about 3ft for each birds...maybe more plus the really mean ones are the one most likely to be eaten plus if the turkey flock get to big then yea but the others are going to be kept i may show them if i can and i may get the reds beacuse they do look pretty on that pic. i seen before plus they on that tractor supply co order form i wonder if they have can have a run that top is cover because i don't want one of my cats to get hate or one of the turkeys beacause my mom told me a tale about one turkey and a cat poor kitty but the eggs i really don't care how many but we eat alot of eggs so i may get a good bit of the red's

Well if you get Bourbon Red, you will have a good time with them. They make great pets and better eating. My turkeys like to roosts very high on the fence and in the tree. Your should be ok though. Try not to have too many males (TOMs). I have 1 tom with 4 females. I had 2 males but the younger male was alittle bad, so I sold him. I feed the babies Turkey starter and it is 30% protein. I feed the adults Pellets or Game Bird Feed. They love it all. All of them do good on the feed that I feed them. They also love whole corn as a treat.

I hope that this has helped you. Do you have any more questions? Just let me know.
