Good Morning Everyone,
A good thing happened last night. I passed out!
I hadn't really slept much since about day 15 and today is day 21. The good Lord put me in a deep sleep and I don't even remember dreaming. I do feel well rested, full of energy, not as stressed and with a clear mind. Wow, who knew sleep could do all that.
As for my status....One of my BCMs hatched last night while I slept and I don't know which on he is. Everybody, including this new hatchling are all fuzzy and oh so cute.
On a bad note, the two that started zipping then stopped are still in the same spot. No progress. They seem to both be alive from the little movement I can see in there, but don't seem to want to hatch out.
I do have a bunch of eggs that have not hatched out yet. I keep telling myself that the others actually hatched early because today is actually day 21, but the worry for them is still there. So I am still
everybody is fine and that I didn't shrink wrap anyone when I opened the bator yesterday. The one I opened the bator to save was one of the ones that died. 10 of them I honestly did not expect to hatch, but put them in just in case. These were mostly BCMs and a couple EEs that I could not see anything in.
So I am sitting here still waiting, but not as worried anymore. I am happy I have as much as I have (they are just soooo cute
) and will just
these next couple of days and
the Lord will give me more of them.
Now the ones that I have (lost count, but more than 11), should I leave them in there? I really don't want to open the bator that much or for too long to get them out. They are all completely fuzzy and I have everything I need to make their temporary brooder in my room. I was thinking maybe I could take one out every 1/2 an hour or so. If I do it really fast, it shouldn't change the humidity or temp in there that much for the unhatched eggs.
Or should I just sit on my hands and wait until tomorrow or Saturday?
