One of my hens is broody for the first time she has been sitting straight since Apr 13 so I took some of the eggs I set in the incubator on Apr 13 (3) and put them under her. I hope she hatches them.

they are gonna be very pretty I bet with all of those breeds I have some EE eggs in the bator has well I got them from some one else I’ve always wanted EE

EEs are so cute i have always wanted them and i can wait for them to hatch what day are you on

i think when my chicks hatch i might want to keep them outside in a dog crate and a mother hen set up that way the flock can see them get use to them and not peck them the crate would be in the coop would this be a good idea or should i just keep them inside tell they get ready

How much space does your flock have? How many adult birds?

I would if I could. As long as they’re safe and the big chickens can’t peck them, they’ll be fine. I did my last batch outside after reading the MHP thread and I’ll never brood inside again. They went straight from TSC to a box in the backyard. They were happy and so was I.

I’m hatching EE barnyard mixes right now and I am HOOKED.
Each egg is a like a little Cracker Jack Surprise Box, it’s so addicting sitting here trying to guess what might pop out next.
