I would if I could. As long as they’re safe and the big chickens can’t peck them, they’ll be fine. I did my last batch outside after reading the MHP thread and I’ll never brood inside again. They went straight from TSC to a box in the backyard. They were happy and so was I. :thumbsup

That sounds interesting. I've always waited at least 2-3 week and had excellent success doing that. Can you share a link to that thread?

One left that’s pipped. The hole is all the way through, she’s just resting before her zip. :jumpy
Pretty sure the other egg left is a dud, I think it died right after lockdown. I didn’t see any movement when i candled them, Saturday I believe it was. Once the last chick hatches, I’m going to take it out and float test it.

But 5 outta 6 ain’t bad for a first hatch! I’m way super happy!

To day is day seven I’m gonna candle tonight to give y’all some pics of the air cell I was hoping some one could tell me if the air cell was big enough or to small the first six days the humidity was really high in my bator in the 60s and 70s I got it down to stay in the 40s 30s and 50s but I want to make sure every thing is ok with the air cell
