I ordered mine from eBay bc I’m worthless with a sewing machine. But if you’re good at sewing, there are tons of patterns online for them.:thumbsup

I have to get some for my girls, the boy aren't rough I just don't have enough hens. That's why I am hatching so many eggs.

Edit and learning how to feather sex.

My BR roo is the best he is so big and great with the girls and gets along with my BO roo. I think I lucked out there.:bow When I let them out to free range if one of the girls is laying he waits for them to finish and the BO takes the care of the rest of the flock. I didn't know roosters could be like that.

I love my roosters. They each have their own personality and add a lot of character to the flock. I don't keep any aggressive ones but the others are cherished.

Yeah my boys aren’t being rough, I think they’re just a bit clumsy on some of the girls. There’s enough hens for the two of them and not all the girls are missing feathers. I noticed the boys have a harder time staying on top of the girls who need the saddles.

I guess I should get some my rooster is getting pretty rough with the hens do your hens like the them do they try and get them off
A few were a little weirded out at first, some didn’t mind at all, and they were all used to them by the next day. They don’t even seem to notice them now. They also seemed to calm down my more skittish hens..kind of like a comfort blanket maybe? But it was crazy...I went in to check on them after putting on the saddles and one of my big gray ones (who usually runs from me) came up and started snuggling me!! It was nuts!:love

I’ve just left them on so far so I don’t have to run around chasing them every morning to put them back in lol. They did good even in the rain. They were a little damp but dried super quick once the rain stopped.
