I don't know the recomended for duck but if its the same as chickens i would try to get it down to 70 as mine was all over the place each time one hatched even jumping to over 85 a few timesI’m going into lockdown tomorrow, I have 8 duck eggs. Is 76% humidity OK?
I don't blame you! I'm planning on turkeys probably not until next year. And of course, they'll be heritageThese are from a neighbour, really excited to have them hatch.
From what I've heard, the turning doesn't really happen until lockdown... I could be wrong though. As hard as it is to do, the best thing to do is let mother nature take its course.So today I candled one of my EE eggs and my bantam egg just because I wanted to see the little chickies and my EE has turned her head to the big end of the eggbut my bantam egg still is in the small side when are they supposed to turn
NOT GOOD....Has anyone here done safety holes on their eggs???so saturday is lockdownand i cant wait it looks like im going to be going in to lock down with the three fertile eggs i have to toss one EE
i think it was fertile but stopped growing
im really eggcited for lock down cant wait to see the colors of the chicks. im going to get the brooder ready pretty soon im going to be keeping them in side so i can keep a close eye on them and spend lots of time with them im not going to be using a heat lamp im going to us a mama hen set up ve used it before they the chick loved it. how is every ones hatch going
