I'm not having much luck with my candling this time around... not seeing any blood vessels... but I am seeing dark blobs in the yolks. These buckeye shells aren't letting the light through like my 1st batch (which didn't make it due to cold temps).

I feel you. I've misplaced my high powered candling flashlight. Now I'm using an LED headlamp. Definitely not the same with darker eggs. I'm not willing to replace it since I know it's around somewhere. I'm sure it turn up after the last chick hatchs. Typical.

One out, several pipped. The one out is ee x partridge rock - meggan.

Ok it's 4 external pips 2 turkey 2 duck...... looks like they will be a day early

So last night locking down eggs the bator got unplugged which is driving me nuts. It restarted count down as 4 days even though it should have been almost to 3 days. So now my number is a day off and messing with my head.

Anyways 2 days to go. I still haven't seen movement myself but i swear I've heard some peeping. Hubby thinks it's from one of the sebright eggs.

Crossing fingers no external pips yet (don't know about internal). Humidity still low for small air cells hoping no one pips till morning at least because I was planing to raise the humidity tomorrow night.

I think ill try to candle at least the sebrights if i do have internal pips I will raise humidity tonight

Ok so i got thinking i had 1 other night the bator unplugged while checking eggs. It was earlier on but i remeber thinking the next day that the number was wrong. So either hatch day is tonight/tomorrow (which i might have 2 anyways) or tomorrow night and Monday. But i guess it's close enough just so glad i saw that pip
