I would leave it alone for now. Baby bird will usually only cheep when mama is around.so i was out side washing a tote for my chicks brooder and theres a birds nest right next to the house and there are chicks in it the mother bird stays with them and feeds them and when i was washing the tote i seen a chick fall out of the the nest so we put the chick back in there and we have been watching the nest the chick almost fell out again but saved his fall ive only seen the mother one time but ive been in side most of the time know when i go out there i see the chick holding its head over the hole of the nest and she does not chirp she just sits there with your mouth open shoud i take herin and try to help her will she have bird lice

thanks yes im going to leave them in i dont want to hurt them thanks for everyones helpIf you've seen the mom even once I would leave them be. Mom is looking for enough food to feed them. If you want to help put a bird feeder nearby so mom doesn't have to travel so far for food.
