I just set 12 Bielefelder eggs on yesterday and I have another shipment coming in this week from another breeder. Can't wait to have some babies again.

Thanks, this is my first hatch in 3 years. Had to get rid of all my birds due to personal reasons 3 years ago so I'm glad I'm finally getting to start over. Built me a huge brooder over the weekend. So I'm real excited how that came out!!

I have 12 turkey, 4 duck and 12 chicken eggs in lockdown! So far the 4 ducks have internal pips..... they are due Wednesday so a little early but they are smallish eggs so?? A couple of the turkey eggs are huge.... like over 4 oz huge!

Final Count: 7 Canadian Blue Bresse and 9 Bantam Wyandotte Golden Lace. Only 30% hatch rate on the shipped eggs but they did come a very long way. Sorry for the delayed post but we are battling flooding with the big thaw up here. Here are the pictures!

6 out of the original 10 made it to lockdown. 1 I'm not sure I should have put in. 50% is still not bad for my 1st hatch. We'll see in a few days...

Just put 15 BO, BR egg on lock down plus my first broody I know she has at least 3 eggs I put under her Friday is hatch day
