I haven't hatched these before. I've read 26-28 days on these. I'll plan on 26 and go from there...That is very exciting!
How long is their gestation? I've heard the larger the bird, the longer the gestation. Is that true?

Is there any chance of some weird genetic combining? I mean that since they're all healthy, could it be that the combination/s produced by the roo and hens create a problem? I'd not usually go to that thought but you had said that someone else also had troubles with their hatch of the same eggs.
I sure hope you're able to figure out and resolve whatever is going on.
I hope those 2 make it also!I'm not sure. I'm thinking the same way you are the hens and roosters I hatched myself. I was really wanting chicks from the blue and green eggs. The hens are from olive egger hens and white leghorn rooster. They are solid white with pea comb and muffs. And the all lay blue or green eggs. I will try again after this because I really want chicks from them. The brown eggs are ok just blue and green aren't developing. I do have 2 blue ones left so hope they make it.
Just to clarify what color/s are the hens and what color is/are the roo/s?I hope those 2 make it also!
I've never heard of a white bird laying colored eggs!
If it were me, I'd go to the genetics section and start there.
