Congrats!!!So far 7 out of 9 have hatched! All adorable! I'll post some pictures when everyone is fluffy!
Our hatch started last night, first one out and about around 11 p.m. See the pic below. This is my first hatch and it is sooo exciting!
My daughter has been glued to the incubator for most of the day and she's so mad at me that I won't let her open it to take , out the chickies. They started a bit early - end of day 19. 5/14 have hatched so far. I'm hoping to open it tomorrow morning. I don't want to jeopardize the other eggs, but how long will chick #1 be okay in there?

I like to take mine out within 24 hours and they start eating and drinking right away, less strain on them I believe. You have to weigh each side of it. I do not have any problem with keeping the humidity up if I open the hatcher.
4 chicks in total so far. One more starting to pip.
This is not a question I can answer. I've been worried since day 1. And the worry got worse for the past 3 days. My first one took 11 hours from pip to hatch. The next three pipped late afternoon yesterday. One hatched at 7am today and the other two hatched late afternoon today. Then 2 others pipped. And now I wait. It's currently day 22. I don't expect them to hatch until tomorrow based on the first 4.![]()
How long should it be from the time they pip? Or, more importantly, how long before I should worry?
