Maybe if I can get a better incubator by then. I have an LG, but it doesn't work all that well (I've set over 200 eggs, and only ended up with 1 little lonely duckling)

Lockdown was last night for me. I am somewhat apprehensive, but excited too. Seems I have what look to be 5 good eggs, so I am nervously checking the incubator to make sure the temp and humidity are correct. Going to be a long weekend!

I know someone else had a hatch day of Memorial Day, also. But I haven't seen any posts from them lately. Hopefully everything is okay with them.

Well EL I checked on my sizzles last night. I am down to 9 out of 24. And 4 of those have pretty wonky cells. Then got up this morning to 103 temp. WHY do these **** incubators do this???? I swear I am building a cabinet!

yea tommorow is my lock down. i have 11 good looking eggs ( i think) but i dont know about the humidity. please help.

but are they ok. i had that happen to me with 40 eggs. My husband niece touched the incubator and put the temperture 102. I didnot know for how long. i cryed when i had to throw all those away.

Only time will tell if it hurt them. 102 will not kill chicks. But and extended time of 104 and above sure will kill them

mine got up to 103 twice. The first time I dont know how long it was there, i was at work. The second time it was 101 and an hour later it was up to 103 so it wasnt long.. i candled 2 days ago and 20 of them are still alright. I dont think it hurt them at all since the ones that had bloodrings looked to have stopped before those happened.

I wouldnt toss.. just wait and see.

Sunday is my lockdown. Starting the hatching bator tonight! I cant wait!
