May Hatch Thread--Fill up those bators n' broodies!

[5 Acre Rooster]

Busy day after I posted earlier. But guess who has at least 2 FF Buffs???? 1 is pure buff The other has buff but a wide dark stripe down its back. Wondering if SL is sexlinked trait. But both are FF which is great, I think. Not done hatching but had to save some eggs from soccerball. So far I have 2 Buff FF, 3 BA (Pure) 5 BSL (3 female 2 males.) And alot of activity in the bators. I am eggstatic except I think some1 hit our new AS when I went to get a load of materials for coop/pen construction. Oldest daughter called and said he was full of blood. Not much blood when we got home but limpy on a hind leg

I've got three internal pips, and one external pip at the wrong end. Gonna watch him closely and see if he's gonna need any assistance.


I'm kinda worried about them because their momma keeps rolling them around.....

Oh, and the crushed egg died sometime during the night. Lived for over 12 hours like that. Hoping that the other four will hatch okay.

Ok jumped the gun. My buffs dried white Arg!!!

Oh well gotta watch its devolpement. Up to 3 FF, different density of blak in down. 6 BSL 3:3 And 4 BAs.
Still alot of activity. Lost 1 Leghorn cross. Was best early pipper but a zipper rolled him and he drowned. Tried to assist to late.
