I'm sorry yu went through this. You would wish the mail person knew a little about chickens! They would be knocking on your door making sure those eggs got off to a good start.

Well now all of my remaining eggs that look good are under my broody. I put the incubator away. How do you know if they have pipped internally if they are supposed to be on lockdown?

I'm still trying to figure out the brooder arrangements for my chicks. my guys in the bator are due on the 5th and 7th and on the 15th i'm getting goslings and more chicks from the feed store. I wish I would have planned ahead. Because I'm pretty sure i'm going to have to go buy 2 more heat lamps now. And I'll need 3 brooders :O

2 hatched last night and 2 b2b this am.. i have 17 more eggs to go.. 3 have external pips..


yes i am having a hard time getting anything done..
