lol yea guys I'm sorry about the suspense I'm not about drama lol,,,,,,but it took me a while to get through them all and some of the iffy,s i tend to be anal and lookie look, how is your lil special chick doin ? still sleeping with you haahaa ,, i am happy for the out come considering the travel i know the pressure differential on the plane will play hell with the air sacks but they all look great, so i dont hold my self at fault this has been a heck of a journey and to have what i have at this point is a success all my Friends told me i was crazy and would never be able to travel 60000 miles with eggs let alone try to hatch them but when i get started on something i try to follow through,, I'm happy all you peeps and eggs are rolling along you had said you were due for some surgery i hope it is nothing to serious
Nah, I had him tucked under my shirt for three days though. But when the buff orp hatched I stuck the two of them together in the brooder so they both have some company. Was quite a relief, as the feeling I had for those three days 24/7-caring for that little nugget was the same as when the kids were newborn. Except that was easier, as I didn't have to keep them in my bra at night...

Nothing dangerous, but it's probably going to take a while to recover. They're breaking up my hip socket, pelvis and femur bone in order to screw it back together in a better position. I haven't been able to walk without crutches for the last two years, so I just look forward to getting the whole thing over with!

Well at least you can prove them wrong, everyone who said you were crazy thinking they'd hatch. If you never tried you'd never know! And there's going to be some gorgeous breeding birds out of this adventure I bet! Looking forward to see how it goes along.

. Thanks for the kind words Mel, my grandma used to say nothing ventured nothing gained so I guess I get my determination from her , Here the back yard poultry game is a joke people have been happy with four or five eggs a week for a ton of feed and when they attain six that bird is something special most of the local fowl here are game fowl or jungle fowl and the so called good stock is propagated for fighting ability and little is left for eggs and meat so last year I took maters into my own hands and started to bring in eggs from quality pure lines from the states to addres my own needs and for the love of the hobby I love to hatch and breed and am constantly trying to improve my flock with big meaty fast growing dual porpoise birds that have only been seen in books in this part of the world it has been a lot of fun and my family and myself enjoy it so it's nice have somthing we all love to do together I just wish it was a lil more easy to find the stock that I want but is is cool to have people drive by our place and turn around to come back to ask where we get the giant chickens from lol
