Flabby? LOL! I think we’re going with Abby. We almost named our daughter Abigail - so here’s my chance to use that name. And some good news... I always take the ducks for a walk around the yard before bedtime. She went with us and fell right in line!! It was great. She walks funny though - I think regular exercise will be the fix.

Haven’t gotten the videos loaded yet but here’s some pics.

She looks great in her "after" pic! I've definitely seen my fair share of ducks who don't have access to water for preening and they are rough looking. Sounds and looks like she is on her way to a healthier and happier life!

Hi. Anyone know what’s wrong with Abby’s feathers on her chest? I thought they were just dirty but something else is going on I think. She’s been preening her chest constantly for over a week and no feathers come out. The feathers feel matted - it’s hard to describe -like they’re coated in something that was sticky and then dried. My other ducks never had this so wondering if I need to leave her to fix it herself or help her...
