So im raising some silkies 4 of them. I noticed two of them were making sqwack noises for a while so i went to check on them. I noticed that two of them were acting weird. They were trying to get under each others legs right in between. Finally one of them gave up and the other just settled under her. The one on top had to stand on tip toe while the other just laid there. Also these two are always together, their inseparable. I dont have cats or dogs just 4 silkies. Is this odd behavior?

They are 17 weeks tomorrow so 4 months. They dont have a heat lamp anymore and i dont think they need one at this age right?
No, they don’t. I thought maybe they were trying to get away from heat... but now I’m thinking they are just huddling? I don’t have silkies, but I’ve read that they don’t tend to roost as much as other chickens do maybe they’re just “arguing” over the best sleeping spot? If they are healthy and not injuring each other I wouldn’t worry.

I think your right about the sleeping spot actually by the way they were acting thats what it seemed like.
