I’m sorry for your loss, I completely understand and thank you so much. I was able to get her a appt 45 mins away.

I'm so happy you were able to get her an appointment! Our vet is about 45-60 minutes away, too, but it's worth it. I hope you get a better diagnosis than we did, and at the very least your sweetheart gets some relief. The draining helped my duck feel a lot better, and I'm happy she was able to have an extra 6 months of happy puddle playing. Please keep us updated!

Update of Blue!!

She was seen today and the vet thinks it may be some sort of reproductive disease. Her heart and lungs sound good. They pulled a full liter of fluid, it was dark and had a odor. The fluid showed some white blood cells. I wasn’t able to get the X-ray or send the fluid to the lab it is costly. She’s currently on antibiotics and anti inflammatorys. She’s so happy talking moving around. Thank you all so much for your support and info.
