i pt mine in a sterlite box with a mix of baking soda and vinegar. CO2 will put them to sleep also.

I just read some of the info on the link you provided. Thank you so much. It is very helpful and does seem very humane. I never would have thought of doing it that way. Well I never wanted to think about it at all. However I will bookmark this site for future reference. Thanks again!

JUst do it outside or in a well aired room the first time you do it and have somebody home with you. Anytime you work with Ether,Chloroform or CO2. Afterall you are working with deadly gases.

I flick the chick real hard on the back of the head with my middle finger and it instantly dispatches them.

Not that I enjoy it, but sometimes it just has to be done.
