mayday help urgently needed

Something no one mentioned is toxins they could have ingested. Rotting vegitation, mushrooms and spoiled feed (gotten wet and hot in the summer sun and spoiled) can kill waterfowl quickly.

You said you dewormed, but didnt say with what, how much, how often. Deworming without knowing if they have worms, and or what type is medicating for no reason.

Hi I used Verm-X and always have treated my poultry (chickens and ducks) every three months... never had geese before. Not aware of poisoning, always feed them from a bucket which is under cover and have refill every day.

I'm wondering the same thing as Celtic, have you walked over the orchard to check if there could be something there they have been eating on? might not hurt to do a flush, can you get activated charcoal?

Thanks for your posts, I have spent hours trawling through other "sick geese" posts and think I may have an idea... following on from celticoaksfarm and Miss Lydia
I also move my geese in the Veg enclosure for a couple of days at a time to eat the grass and a change of scene etc, which is where I grow my potatoes according to a couple of posts I found these would be poisonous to them. So I will get hold of some charcoal and see how we get on. they are all in the orchard and I will close off the potatoe section so they can not access it.
Cheers

Good detective work, yes night shade family is poisonous to our geese. Hope you can get them treated soon. Let us know how they all are.
